NOTES ON APPLICATION/RENEWAL OF MEMBERSHIP TO FOREST SPIRIT ARCHERS LTD 

Proof of affiliation to SFAA must be given, before Forest Spirit Membership will be accepted.

New applications will only be accepted from persons who have attended Beginners Courses, or by individual assessment by a Coach. 

The membership subscription year runs from 1st of April.

After the first 6 months of the subscription year fees will be reduced by 1/12th per month till the end of the subscription year. 

Unemployed & students must show proof of their current status. 

All Cubs and juniors 16 and under MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times at both our indoor and outdoor facilities. 

It is the responsibility of each individual, parent/guardian, that on application to join Forest Spirit Archers Ltd, that they must disclose any disability or permanent illness that may affect an individual when participating or attending the club. 

Full membership fees are payable for the first 6 months of the subscription year.

As Email is the Primary method of correspondence, it is the members responsibility to ensure the Membership Secretary is notified of any change of Email address.

AGREEMENT*

1. Members agree to adhere to the club's articles of association and the corresponding By-Laws/rules.  

2. I agree that Forest Spirit Archers Ltd and the land owner will not be held liable in any form or way for any damage/loss to my personal equipment, and any damage caused/found to my motor vehicle while parked in the forest. 

3. I agree that Forest Spirit Archers Ltd and the land owner will not in any form or way be held liable for any injury that occurs to my person or my children within the confines of the camp area, while shooting on the course, and while ascending/descending, and shooting from any of the structures. 

4. I, as the below signed member or a parent/guardian, agree to notify a board member if I do not wish myself or my child’s/children photo or image to be used on the Forest Spirit Archers Ltd website, social media page, and on promotional publications.

DATA PROTECTION 

The Data Protection Act 1998 states that those who record and process personal information must be open about how the information is used and must follow the eight principles of ‘good information handling’. These principles state that data must be: 

● Fairly and lawfully processed 

● Processed for limited purposes 

● Adequate, relevant and not excessive 

● Accurate 

● Not kept for longer than is necessary 

● Processed in line with your rights 

● Secure 

● Personal data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area, unless that country provides an adequate level of protection. 

    By law, Forest Spirit Archers Ltd, have to keep to these principles.
